The management of El-Kanemi Warriors will on Tuesday unveil the team’s new Technical Adviser, Coach lmama Amakapabo and his two assistants, Ernest Eziwo and Shaibu Suleiman.

The event will take place at the Government House in Maiduguri.

According to the Club’s Media Manager, Prince Anthony Obaseki, the event would have taken place last Tuesday after the sign-on ceremony but for the absence of the Governor.

“You see our sports-loving Governor will officially unveil Coach lmama Amakapabo and his two assistants.
“The Coach lmama contract is the first of its kind, the management signed him for one season with the choice to come with his assistants.

“The other coaches to be unveiled are Coach Ernest Eziwo and Coach Shaibu Suleiman, goalkeeper trainer. Both worked with lmama in Rangers,” he restates.

Elkanemi Warriors can engage any top coach to work with the team.

"Our Governor is one of the best in this country. Alhaji Kashim Shettima has never hidden the fact in deeds and words that he always wants the best for the team and his total support has remained unprecedented since he mounted the saddle in the state.

“Alhaji Zanna Mala Kakaje Mohammed, the Chairman of the Club has never relented on his spirited mission to give quality leadership and direction to the team. The passionate chairman and his board have been there for the team doing their best to make the squad redefine the side and make it one of the best NPFL outfit in Nigeria,” further said.
