Golf boss praises FCT estate’s sports development

By Daily Sports Nigeria on September 25, 2025

The Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Golf Association, Akabom Enebong, has praised the newly launched Golf View Estate for integrating sports facilities into its development, while warning other developers that projects lacking such amenities may face sanctions.

Enebong endorsed the estate, located off the Abuja Airport Road, describing it as a welcome development that blends sports with modern urban living during the groundbreaking ceremony over the weekend.

The FCT golf chief emphasised the need for developers to integrate golf and other sporting amenities into new estates across the capital, warning that projects in the FCT that neglect such provisions may face sanctions from the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

“We commend Golf View Estate for starting on a good note,” he said, praising the initiative for aligning real estate growth with sports development.

He further encouraged real estate investors to embrace the trend, stressing that it would improve the quality of life for residents while promoting wider participation in sports.

Golf View Estate, strategically situated along Airport Road, promises residents a lifestyle that combines modern comfort with access to recreational amenities.

Golf lovers within the estate will have access to practice facilities, including a natural putting range designed to capture the traditional feel of the sport.

In addition, a state-of-the-art indoor 5D golf simulator will provide players with a lifelike golfing experience, ensuring that both amateurs and professionals can enjoy the sport year-round. The development represents a growing trend of integrating recreational facilities into residential projects across the Federal Capital Territory.
