Fulham hero Tony Gale has welcomed new signing Alex Iwobi.
The midfielder made a surprise move from Everton last week.
Gale wrote for FulhamFC.com: “Alex Iwobi was an interesting signing. I saw Alex a lot when he was at the Arsenal when he came shining through.
“Then he went over to Everton, and every time I saw him there he was their best player, whether he played on the right or the left. They will have been a bit miffed to let him go – I think they needed the money for FFP rules.
“That’s a good nick for us, as he offers us a different option in midfield. Marco (Silva) signed him at Everton as well, knows what he can do, so I think it’s a good signing all round.”
