Real Madrid Players Angry With Zidane Assistant Bettoni

By Daily sports on November 12, 2020

Real Madrid assistant coach David Bettoni is losing the confidence of the locker room, it has been revealed.

El Mundo says Bettoni has a cold relationship with the players and several blame him for the departures of James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale.

It's suggested many inside the locker room believe Bettoni pushed coach Zinedine Zidane to be harder on James and Bale, which eventually saw them leave for Everton and Tottenham respectively this summer.

Bettoni is also being blamed for the support of Marcelo and Isco, with it claimed teammates don't believe their training ground form has warranted selection.

It's also understood the players believe Bettoni has pushed Zidane to be colder towards the players and not so chummy, which is working against the squad's unity. (Tribal Football)
