Manchester City Join Aubameyang Chase

By Daily Sports on April 25, 2020

Manchester City are the latest club to have joined the race for Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s signature.

According to Don Balon, Pep Guardiola is interested in signing the Gabon international who’s contract at Emirates Stadium runs out in June next year.

Aubameyang, who has also been linked with a move to Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid, is currently valued at around €60 million.

The Gunners could be forced into selling their star forward if they fail in their attempts of singing him to a new contract by the start of the 2020/21 season.

Aubameyang, who is reportedly open to a move away from the North London club, will be able to leave Arsenal for free at the end of next season as things currently stand.

The 30-year-old has scored 20 goals in 32 matches across all competitions this season and has been prolific throughout his Arsenal career since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.

In total, Aubameyang has scored 61 goals in 97 games for the club. (Don Balon)
