Nigeria's highest paid sportsman Odion Ighalo returned to scoring ways during Changchun Yatai's 2-1 win over Beijing Guoan in the Chinese Super League on Saturday.
Prior to Saturday’s meeting at the Development Area Stadium (Changchun), the former Lyn Oslo sensation last found the back of the net on April 15, when he netted a pair of goals against Obafemi Martins' Shanghai Shenhua.
On 21 minutes, Tan Long played a defense splitting pass to Ighalo, who rounded the goalkeeper before firing into the net from an acute angle.
The number nine came close to scoring again in the 45th minute but saw his effort from close range saved by goalkeeper Yang Zhi, and would have restored Changchun Yatai's two-goal advantage on 80 minutes but his header went just wide.
