Indonesian club offer Osaze Odemwingie new deal

By Daily Sports on June 23, 2017

High-flying Indonesian club Madura United want to extend the short-term contract of former Nigeria international Osaze Odemwingie after his goals and dazzling displays.

Madura United are pushing for the championship, just a point behind leaders PSM after 11 matches.

And Osaze, 35, has more than justified the $500,000 he will pocket till November by netting nine goals in 10 appearances thus far.

“Osaze is to be offered a new contract based on his performances,” a top source informed SCORENigeria
“He has not only held his own in the league in Indonesia, he is now one of the top stars there.”

The Indonesian league has most recently been invaded by the Premier League stars like Micheal Essien, Charlton Cole and Osaze.

Osaze featured for West Bromwich Albion, Stoke City and Cardiff City in the English top flight after also playing in Belgium, France and Russia.
