A strong team of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) led by its national Chairman, Prince Vincent Okumagba, has stormed the country home of Sports Minister Solomon Dalung in Sabongida, Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State, ahead of the burial today, February 4, 2017, of the Minister’s first wife, Mrs. Briskila Naomi Dalung.
In an interview with our Correspondent, the National Public Relations Officer (PRO), Orishabiyi Olutoye, revealed that the NFSC would be fully represented, adding that it is the best thing to do in our spirited bid to show love, solidarity to the Sports Minister “and foremost, to pay our last respect to the departed.”
He further informed that, it is the spirit of the game that is radiating all over this place and the NFSC is on hand showcasing the kind of stuff we are known for, that is rendering beautiful renditions that waters the soul.
“I must tell you that being here to sympathise and also identify with the Minister who has shown lots of leadership qualities and direction since he assumed office, including his often fatherly roles in bringing NFSC together which led to the election that produced the Okumagba led national executive committee. It has been beehive of activities with very important dignities private and top government officials, in short, from all works of life around to sympathise with the Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung on this his grieve minute. It is obvious that the late Mrs. Dalung lived exemplary life while on her sojourn on earth hence the mammoth crowd paying their last respect to the deceased,” Olutoye said.
