Nigeria stars Victor Moses, Victor Anichebe and Alex Iwobi will all start for their respective Premier League clubs today.
Victor Moses will keep his place at right wing-back for Chelsea at home against AFC Bournemouth, Anichebe is part of the strike force of Sunderland at Manchester United, while Alex Iwobi starts in midfield for Arsenal against West Bromwich Albion.
Speculations were rife that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte could line up Victor Moses at centre-forward in place of the suspended Diego Costa, but that role will now be played by Pedro.
However, fellow Super Eagles star Ahmed Musa starts from the bench for champions Leicester City even in the absence of the suspended Jamie Vardy.
Nigeria-born defender Ola Aina is also on the bench for Chelsea.
Chelsea are six points clear at the top of the table with 43 points from 17 matches. (mtnfootball.com)
