Moses Simon scored one of the goals as Gent dumped Belgian league leaders Zulte-Waregem, who gave Kingsley Madu his debut on the day.
Madu was a late substitute for his first league appearance for Zulte-Waregem.
Compatriot Moses Simon was on target in the 78th minute. It was his third goal this season in the league and he also assisted for his team's opening goal.
He started and finished the game, while another Nigeria international Anderson Esiti was replaced in the 46th minute.
Zulte-Waregem remain top of the table pending the result of third-placed Anderlecht, while Gent climbed to fourth on 18 points from 10 matches. (mtnfootball.com)
