Nasarawa United centre back, Samson Gbadebo has described as beatable his side Federation Cup semifinals opponents, Enyimba.
The Solid Miners will confront the People’s Elephant in Saturday’s Federation Cup semifinals clash at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
The Lafia outfit benched Cup holders, Akwa United on penalties in the quarterfinals clash while Enyimba edge neighbours, Rivers United to pave the way for the final ticket clash.
Gbadebo said his side will pull their weights to ensure they outsmart former Cup holders, Enyimba for the Cup final ticket.
“We will approach the Cup semifinals clash against Enyimba with all seriousness to ensure we win the encounter.
“We are dubbing the Cup semis as final before the final as we are envisaging a lighter work in the final against FC IfeanyiUbah.
“Enyimba’s performance in the out gone Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) have shown that the side are beatable as well as vulnerable.
“We will cash in on their recent not too impressive form to beat them for the Cup final ticket.
“That’s not to say we are expecting Enyimba to go down cheap without a fight, we are steeling ourselves for a tough game.
“We fought very hard to earn a ticket to the continent on the platform of the league without success we will not allow the Cup opportunity to further elude us,” said the former Lobi Stars strongman to supersport.com.
The winners of the Cup semis clash will confront the top-flight side, FC IfeanyiUbah in the final expected to hold in Lagos at the Teslim Balogun Stadium. (supersport.com)
