El-Kanemi Warriors mourn Kafarja

The management of El-Kanemi Warriors FC of Maiduguri has announced the passing away of one of its staff, Mallam Usman Kafarja, a.k.a The Warrior Himself, who died on Monday, September14.

El-Kanemi Team Manager, Alhaji Ajayi Baba Ali, said the news of the death of Kafarja came as a shock and surprise to the team. “You see, we were at training on Monday when the news came that Warrior is dead,” he said.

The young Team Manager said that Mallam Kafarja would be remembered forever for the love he had for El-Kanemi Warriors.

“In fact, he was the real warrior himself. We call him City Chairman and for people that knew him, some called him Kalee, others called him Meta, Owko. On behalf of the Government of Borno State, the Management  of El-Kanemi Warriors and the good people of the state we condole with the family of late Kafarja and pray for them to take heart. May his soul rest in peace,” Ajayi Baba Ali said.
