Norbert Okolie, Media Officer, Rangers International FC of Enugu, has described the club’s signing on of former Lobi Stars of Makurdi striker, Ossy Martins, as “great” for the forthcoming football season.

Okolie made this known to newsmen in Enugu on Wednesday, pointing out that the players personal terms had been agreed.

He said Martins signed the dotted lines on Wednesday at the clubs corporate office in Enugu.

According to him, Martins recently parted ways with Lobi Stars and moved on to the ‘Flying Antelopes’, after ending his romance with the ‘Shoe-Get-Size’ side.

At Lobi Stars, he proved to be a thorn in the flesh of opposing defenders and is credited with 13 goals in 27 matches played for the Makurdi-based side.

The signing of the all-action attacker will boost the front line of the Rangers, a side being put together by the ‘Flying Antelopes’ management team as they aim to return to trophy winning ways in the fast approaching 2021/2022 football season.

Martins is expected to join forces with the likes of Elijah Ani, Christian Nnaji, Chinonso Eziekwe, Obiorah Emeka, Eboko Ikechukwu and the expected return of Israel Abia. (NAN)
