Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has suggested that midfielder Raphael Onyedika is the most underrated player representing Nigeria in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Morocco.
Osimhen lauded Onyedika’s contributions to Eric Chelle’s side, pointing out that the Club Brugge star has not received the recognition he deserves, especially after scoring two goals in the recent match against Uganda.
“Onyedika has been one of our best players, and most of the time, he does not get the hype he deserves,” Osimhen remarked, as reported by Flashscore.
“He is really a talented player, and for the performance he delivered against Uganda, I believe he deserves to be in the spotlight.”
Onyedika will aim to be a key player for Nigeria in their upcoming AFCON Round of 16 clash against Mozambique on Monday.
