The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Anambra Chapter, has commiserated with the National President of the Association, Benjamin Isaiah over the demise of his mother, Mrs Agnes Isaiah.

Chimezie Anaso, State Chairman of SWAN in a condolence letter made available on Saturday said the chapter received news of the death of Ma Agnes with sadness and shock.

Late Ma died on Thursday in Minna, Niger state capital at the age of 78.

The chapter expressed deep sympathy with the president who lost his father just nine months ago.

“Mr president, we, the members of SWAN in Anambra wish to convey our deep sympathies to you over the loss of your mother.

“This is indeed another huge loss to the Benjamin family as it came just about nine months after you lost your patriarch.

“It is our prayer that God will console you and members of your family who are directly affected by this irreparable loss,” he said.
