Sancho open to Juve move

By Daily Sports Nigeria on July 3, 2024

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Jadon Sancho is open to joining Juventus in the summer, but the Bianconeri are working on a loan deal while Manchester United want a permanent transfer for €50m.

Manchester United winger Sancho is open to joining Juventus this summer, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The pink paper reiterates that the English winger had already agreed to move to Turin on loan in the January transfer window, but ex-coach Massimiliano Allegri rejected the chance to sign him as Sancho was not suitable to his 3-5-2 system.

After a six-month loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, Sancho has not changed his stance on a move to Juventus and would gladly move to Turin this summer.

According to Gazzetta, Sancho is not on Manchester United’s plans for next season, but the Red Devils want at least €40m-€50m to sell him.

Juventus, on the other hand, are pushing for a loan deal. In this case, Man United would also need to pay part of Sancho’s €8.5m-a-year salary.

According to the report, Sancho has been offered to other clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, Man City and Arsenal, but none of them are willing to match Man United’s asking price, so this could play in Juventus’ favour.

Another option is to swap Sancho for unhappy winger Federico Chiesa, who has just one year left in his contract and has yet to agree to sign a new deal. Juventus will soon meet his agent, Fali Ramadani, to discuss the future.
