Finalists Emerge At Kasa Memorial Tennis Tourney

Finalists in the maiden edition of the Kasa Memorial Tennis Tournament have emerged after the semifinal matches decided during the week at the tennis courts of the Federal Civil Service Club (FCSC), Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
In the first semifinal match played on Tuesday, the pair of Feranmi Kehinde and Adedayo Adeosun beat the pair of Otunba Onifade and Kabiru Bello 6-0, 6-2 to qualify for the final.
In the second semifinal match, the pair of Raynner Okpara and Fola Sanni beat the pair of Olaitan Shabi and Jimmy Udeh 6-3, 6-4 to move to the final.
According to the Captain of the Tennis Section of the FCSC, Barr. Feranmi Kehinde, the final will hold on Sunday, December 18 at the centre court of the Tennis Section of the Club. 
“There are lots of prizes and gifts to be won as plans have been concluded for a successful closing ceremony in honour of a deserving sports lover, the late Qudus Abayomi Solebo,” said Barr. Kehinde.
He expressed the organiers' happiness at the standard of play exhibited so far by the players at the tournament.
"From the day one of the commencement of the tournament, it has been impressive what the players have put in play to this stage of the final.
“There is no doubt the final is going to be thrilling, entertaining and explosive judging from the performance of the finalists.
“They have really lived up to the expectations and we expect them to put up such brilliant performance in the final again,” he said.
Top management members of the FCSC are expected to grace the final which will serves off by 5pm on Sunday.
