Atletico Madrid are weighing up a move for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
After releasing Diego Costa, formerly of Chelsea, from his contract, Atletico are in the market for a cut-price replacement.
Sky Sport says Giroud has featured high on the list of possibilities discussed by Atletico’s directors.
The veteran is off contract in June and continues to be the subject of intense transfer speculation.
However, Giroud has stated in recent weeks he is happy at Chelsea and in London. (Tribal Football)
