English Premier League club Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta has recovered from the coronavirus, local media reported on Friday.
Arteta told BBC One’s Football Focus presenter Dan Walker that he has “completely recovered” after contracting the virus last month.
The U.K. on Friday confirmed 980 new deaths in the country over the past 24 hours, the largest rise on record in the country.
After originating in Wuhan, China last December, COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, has spread to at least 185 countries and regions across the world.
The pandemic has killed more than 101,100 people, and infected over 1.67 million, while nearly 372,000 people recovered from the disease, according to figures compiled by the U.S.-based Johns Hopkins University. (Anadolu Agency)
