Dybala speaks on Messi and Ronaldo Rivalry

By Daily Sports on October 7, 2018

Juventus' Argentinian striker Paulo Dybala has the fortune of playing alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for club and country.

Few players can boast that throughout their playing career, but Dybala feels that it can fuel his ambition.

“They are beyond normal and my objective is to be the best of the ‘humans’.”

Having just scored a hat-trick against

Young Boys in the Champions League, he feels more comfortable than ever and explained a wish to one day win the Ballon d’Or.

“It’s a wish that I expressed when I was a boy, to improve you have to have high objectives,” he elaborated after a difficult start to the season.

He is now a key member of a team which is finding form and looks to be one of the strongest sides in Italy for years after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

“For me, we were competitive last year too,” he said.

“I would’ve swapped the Champions League for the league title, but now the expectations have grown, the mentality is always the same: win everything.”

The Argentina international believes that his team were unfortunate to lose out to Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals last season too and said that his team could've gone further had they progressed.

“Last year Madrid won, but didn’t show that they were better than us,” he insisted.

“If we had passed that round, everything would've changed, for me, we would have won the Champions League and everyone would say that we were the best, there weren’t any teams better than us.”
