Real Madrid became the Turkish Airlines Euroleague champions after beating Fenerbahce Dogus 85-80 in the finals at the Serbian capital Belgrade.

The final match at Stark Arena in front of 17,000 fans saw an intense rendezvous.

Real Madrid’s Luka Doncic – who was given the regular season’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) award – scored 15 points.

Doncic, who turned 19 last February, became the youngest player in Euroleague history to be given the MVP award.

Fabien Causeur was Madrid’s high scorer with 17 points. He made 3 three-point shots.

Italian power forward Nicolo Melli was Fenerbahce Dogus’ highest scorer with 28 points. Brad Wanamaker chipped in with 14 points.
