Gernot Rohr believes that the friendly encounter against England will test Nigeria’s readiness for the World Cup.
On Wednesday, the Three Lions confirmed the tie which is scheduled to hold at the Wembley Stadium on June 2.

And reacting to the news, the German tactician is upbeat about the level of competition a game against Gareth Southgate’s side would afford his Super Eagles team, ahead of the Russia 2018 World Cup.
“This is good news for myself and the entire team,” Rohr told the NFF website.
“England is a very strong team presently and I believe they will give us a very good match,” he continued.
“We will be able to test our readiness for the World Cup when we meet the Three Lions at Wembley.”
Nigeria will face Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in Group D of the global showpiece, while England - whom they will be meeting at senior level for the third time - will have to negotiate with Belgium, Panama and Tunisia in Group G.
