Kelechi Iheanacho’s Leicester City will come up against his high-flying former club Manchester in the quarterfinal of the League Cup, which is now known as the Carabao Cup.
Iheanacho opened his goals account for Leicester City in a 3-1 win over Leeds United in the previous round of the cup competition.
This result is expected to help ‘The Foxes’ regain their footing in the Premier League.
Manchester City, on the other hand, have been firing and their win on penalties over English Championship leaders Wolves was their 12th straight win – a club record.
The quarterfinals are slated for December 18 and 19.
