Italian champions Juventus are willing to pay far more than the £42,000-a-week Nigeria forward Henry Onyekuru earns at Premier League side Everton, top sources have said.

Quoting Tuttosport, SCORENigeria reported that, struggling Everton, who the player signed a five-year deal with in the summer, now plan to recall him in January, just as Juventus have indicated interest to buy out his contract.

“Juventus have shown keen interest in signing Henry and I think Everton want him to stay,” the source said.

“In fact, Juventus are ready to pay more than £42,000-a-week he signed for at Everton.

“I know his dream is to play in EPL, let’s wait and see.”

Onyekuru has scored four goals for Anderlecht while on loan this season.
