The Portugal-based goalkeeper is part of the Super Eagles squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon's Indomitable Lions.

“We all want to go to the World Cup and everybody is ready to give his best for the cause," the CD Feirense keeper told Completesportsnigeria.com.

"We won’t be scared of Cameroon despite their status as reigning African champions. The Super Eagles will welcome Cameroon in Uyo on Friday, while the return leg match is scheduled to take played in Yaounde three days later."

We need to make the game difficult for Cameroon and that will involve everybody from technical bench yo the coaches and even the fans," he added.

"We must all get behind the team so that victory can be guaranteed.”

Nigeria, who are sitting at the top of their qualifying group (Group B), will edge closer to qualifying for the finals if they defeat Cameroon home and away.

South African-based Daniel Akpeyi and home-based Ikechukwu Ezenwa are the other two goalkeepers which have been called up by Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr.
