Nigerian striker Emeka Eze has joined top Austrian club SK Sturm Graz from Rops of Finland on a two-year contract with an option for an additional year.

In Finland, Eze scored seven goals in 21 matches.

He arrived Graz on Sunday and did his medical the following day.

“Emeka brings an extraordinary technique, speed, and further robustness to our offensive game and he will make us even more unpredictable,” remarked Sturm Graz sporting director Gunter Kreissl.

“At the age of 20, he is a young player who is one for the future.”

Coach Franco Foda added: “Emeka is a young, talented player who is flexible in attack on all positions, and at 20 he is still very capable of developing more.”

Big striker Eze, who posted a stint in Cameroon, described his new club as “a great club with great fans” and said he hopes to soon blend with them.
