Manchester City hijack Kayode from Newcastle United

By Daily Sports on August 12, 2017

Various reports quoting sources close to Olanrewaju Kayode have suggested Manchester City have snatched the Nigeria striker from right under the noses of fellow Premier League side Newcastle United.

Manchester City will subsequently ship out Kayode on a season-long loan to Girona, who will campaign in La Liga this season. An official confirmation is now being expected.

It was reported that he arrived England to discuss a deal with Newcastle United only to get a call from Pep Guardiola to head to The Ittihad.

The Austrian Bundesliga Goal King did his medical at City and will return to his base to rejoin the family before they head out to Spain.

SCORENigeria first reported that Kayode will move to England “in a matter of days”. (SCORENigeria)
