Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye has been demoted by Chinese Super League side Tiajin Teda to their reserves for the rest of the season.
This according to various media reports from China followed the arrival of Ghana striker Franck Acheampong from Belgian champions Anderlecht.
Ideye, 28, has managed a handful of goals since his arrival in China from Greek champions Olympiacos.
He has complained of being away from his family for a very long time.
Teda, who also parade Nigeria skipper Mikel Obi, have slipped to 13th on the Super League table.
Ideye has also played in the Premier League with West Bromwich Albion, Switzerland, France and Ukraine. (SCORENigeria)
