Real Madrid and Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has posted a picture of his twin babies born through a surrogate mother in the United States.
Surrogacy is when a woman carries and gives birth to another person’s baby without having sexual relations with the man.
This is often an option for those unable to have children themselves, or for same sex couples.
Ronaldo confirmed he had become a dad-of-three following Portugal’s exit from the Confederations Cup in a 3-0 semi-final defeat to Chile on Wednesday.
"I am very happy to finally be able to be with my children for the first time.”
