Belgian side Zulte Waregem have signed on 21-year-old Nigeria attacker Peter Olayinka from KAA Gent on loan for the 2017/18 season.
He will join fellow Nigerians Kingsley Madu and Aliko Bala at the club after spending last season on loan to Czech Republic side Dukla Prague.
Olayinka moved to Gent in 2016 but injuries and lack of opportunities saw him loaned out to the Czech side where he scored six goals in 22 games.
The attacker said he is happy to get a new challenge and return to the Belgium league, which he considers of a higher standard than the Czech league.
"This is a new start for me in a new league. The Belgian league is higher, I hope to adjust as soon as possible to the way of play and show what I have got,” Olayinka told essevee.be.
My ambition here is to do better than I did last year and score more goals,” he added
Olayinka has previously played for Bylis Ballsh, Yenicami AÄ and Skenderbeu.
