There are reports that French millionaires Paris Saint-Germain have not only jumped into the race to sign Nigeria forward Henry Onyekuru, they are willing to pay him more than what Arsenal and other interested Premier League clubs have put on the table.
The youngster, who shone like a million stars for Belgian team KAS Eupen in the just-ended season when he bagged 24 goals, has attracted interest from a flurry of Premier League clubs as well as German Bundesliga teams.
A source close to the 20-year-old goal machine told ScoreNigeria.com.ng PSG have now tabled a bid and offered him more money that Arsenal and other suitors.
French club OGC Nice have thus far offered to pay the highest salary of 40,000-a-week to the Nigeria star.
“This is Henry’s time, his performance for Eupen is not been overlooked as PSG are ready to sign him and have offered to pay him more than what other teams want to pay him,” the source revealed.
“They are in talk on a possible deal, his decision on his next destination will soon be taken but he is particular about a regular playing time which is a key factor for his career progress.”
SCORENigeria further learnt Onyekuru and his representatives are due to meet with PSG this week in Paris.
