By Daily Sports on June 15, 2017

The agent of Ogenyi Onazi has told ScoreNigeria.com.ng he cannot confirm a recent report the Super Eagles midfielder could return to Serie A with Fiorentina.

Onazi’s representative Ayodele Makinwa, who himself was a former Nigeria international, told ScoreNigeria.com.ng that he can’t confirm the move.

“I cannot confirm it,” Makinwa told ScoreNigeria.com.ng when he was asked about the Fiorentina link.

The former Lazio midfielder performed excellently well for his Turkish team Trabzonspor, where he emerged Man of the Match in no less than five games.

He rejected a move to China in the winter.
