Troost-Ekong hints on transfer from Belgian club Gent

Nigeria defender William Troost-Ekong has hinted that he will soon decide on his club future.

The central defender returned to Belgian KAA Gent this past season after two eventful years on loan in Norway.

He has been linked to several clubs including Bursaspor, whose scouts watched him in action recently.

“There have been talks about it, but I have always said I won’t speculate till after the season,” he told SCORENigeria

“Now I can think about what is best for me.

“In next few weeks you will see what’s going to happen.”

He said he has enjoyed “a good season” and hopes for more in the coming season.

“The Olympics (bronze at Rio Olympics) was the highlight,” he said.
