Kampala Capital City Authority coach Mike Mutebi says they should have scored more goals in their CAF Confederation Cup tie against Rivers United last weekend, but he is still happy with the win.
The Ugandans grabbed a comfortable 2-1 win to go level with Group A leaders, FUS Rabat on six points.
Mutebi said the victory boosts their morale in the continental competition, but wants more aggression from his charges.
The goals for the Ugandan champions came through Derrick Nsimbambi’s brace at Lugogo Stadium on Saturday.
“We were in charge and troubled them but we were not effective. We should have scored like four goals,” said Mutebi to the Daily Monitor.
“I believe if we play like that when we travel away, we shall get results.
“The win gives us confidence when we travel away because for them the confidence is now low.
“But we have a lot to improve because we still do a lot of school boy mistakes and we are punished.
“I believe the players will grow in experience because this is a growing young team. We play with confidence and we have belief that we can win - that is very pleasing.”
The return leg is set to be hosted in Nigeria in two weeks time and United will hope to avenge the defeat.
