Swansea, West Ham match Arsenal 8 million Euros transfer fee for Onyekuru

Premier League clubs Swansea and West Ham are not giving up without a big fight in their quest to sign Henry Onyekuru as they have both agreed to match the transfer fee of eight million Euros tabled by Arsenal and pay the Nigeria striker £35,000-a-week.

Quoting a reliable source close to the Super Eagles forward, ScoreNigeria.com.ng reports that Swansea and West Ham have tabled separate formal offers for the 19-year-old player.

“Swansea City and West Ham United are not relenting in their bid to sign Henry (Onyekuru),” the source revealed.

“They are both ready to pay a transfer fee of eight million Euros and to pay Henry £35,000 a week.”

It was reported that Swansea and West Ham had signified interest in signing the lad.

However, Arsenal remain the top favourites to land the dashing forward after they offered him £38,000-a-week.
