Stephen Keshi Cup gets tournament zonal administrators, director

The National Administrative Council (NAC) of National Association of Nigeria Professional Footballers (NANPF) has approved the appointment of new officials as Zonal Administrators of the Stephen Keshi Cup, An Annual National Youth Football Tournament From Under 17 – 19, as part of projects designed by the Nigeria Players Union to immortalise and preserve the contributions and legacies of Stephen Keshi to the overall development of African football.

The officials are:
1. North West – Comrade Dahiru Sadi (MFR)
2. North East – Comrade Patrick Pascal (MON)
3. North Central – Comrade Abubarka Musa
4. South South – Comrade Edema Fuludu
5. South East – Comrade Victor Okoh
6. South West – Comrade Taju Disu

A statement issued in Lagos on Wednesday by NANPF Deputy General Secretary (Technical), Comrade Peter Nnolum said all States Council Chairmen and Secretaries will serve as coordinators of the tournament in the states.

In a related development, the Union has appointed one of its official consultants, Prince Dapo Ajibade as the Tournament Director of the Stephen Keshi Cup in ensuring the tournament enjoys top quality organisation of world class standard.

Prince Ajibade was the organiser of the Odua Pre-season Tournament in 2007, and the Senate President Cup in 2011. He is the Chairman, Ondo State League Management Committee and immediate past chairman of Ondo State Football Agency and President, Sunshine Stars FC from 2016 to February 2017.
