By Nelson Dafe on January 16, 2022

Team 360 FC is one academy in Lagos with a very ambitious mentality of developing youngsters and delivering them to big time football.

A look at the graduates of the Lagos-based academy offers a glimpse of the hardwork being put in by the management of the team.

There is Tanko Abdulahi who plays his club football in Sagres (Portugal),Sheyi Olawoyin (Dubai),Abdulfatai Adeshina,Chidera Eze (Al Bashir,Oman) as well as numerous others who are plying their trade both in Nigeria and overseas. These players are products of team 360 FC and more are expected to move to the pro level soon.

Speaking with Daily Sports, the President of Team 360FC,Hamza Oladimeji says:"at Team 360 our aim is to market our players to a bigger platform. In the past 8 or 9 years we've been able to market a number of players to European and local clubs and this year, our target is to scout for the best talents ,develop them and marketing them,as many as we can."

Oladimeji reveals some names of Team 360 star players that people may have to keep an eye on.

"In the present crop of players here at 360, there is Mojeed Akinyelu, who is one of our be players, also there is Joseph Ongo and a host of others who we are expecting to move between now and the summer transfer window," Oladimeji said.

The Team 360 boss laments tge absence of significant government support for private academies in Nigeria.

"Unfortunately, government sees grassroots football here in Nigeria as a hobby and not a means of generating revenue for the government or as a tool for fighting crime."

"It would help if there are intervention funds from government to help private-owned academies to run but unfortunately,Idon't see that happening soon,"Oladimeji added.
