MFM poised to beat Rangers, says coach

By Daily Sports on February 24, 2017

Mountain of Fire Miracles Ministries (MFM) FC head coach, Fidelis IIechukwu, has said his side are well poised to defeat champions, Enugu Rangers.

The Olukoya Boys are hosts of the Flying Antelopes in Friday’s night Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 10 clash at the hallow ground, Agege Township Stadium.

IIechukwu said his side are not under any tension or pressure but damn battle ready to confront the Coal City side.

“There is no tension around me or my players as we know already we are playing the champions, Enugu Rangers - the best team in the land at the moment.

“We expect a highly intensive and quality game as we are 100% ready for Enugu Rangers.

“We are well advantaged to beat Enugu Rangers having rested quite well for the past days though we engaged ourselves in top friendly matches.

“The encounter is certain to be tough as Enugu Rangers appeared to have discovered their goal scoring potential.

“Enugu Rangers scored two goals against Lobi Stars in Wednesday’s rescheduled match in Enugu a sign that they are coming up on the scoring chart as their best previously have been one goal.

“Yes, our pitch has been a sanctuary of a sort because of hard-work and discipline on the part of the players.

“The two factors mainly have helped us greatly to achieve good results on the ground coupled with the fact that we have youngsters who are ever ready and willing to follow instruction.

“The factors will be quite handy to help us to unsettle Enugu Rangers on Friday,” said IIechukwu to supersport.com.

MFM FC are fourth on the 20-team top-flight on 13 points seven behind league leaders, Plateau United though with two games at hand to Rivers United and Wikki Tourists. (© supersport.com)
