Enyimba’ll be champions again – Ogunbote

By Daily Sports on December 29, 2016

Enyimba will hope to reclaim the Nigeria league championship, according to new coach Gbenga Ogunbote.

Last season, seven-time champions Enyimba failed to retain the championship after they finished a disappointing 10th.

“I want to win the league with Enyimba, a team who are used to winning titles, so we are going for the championship, nothing less,” he declared.

“Enyimba are a professional club with the right attitude for work.”

‘The People’s Elephant’ have lost several top stars like skipper Chinedu Udoji, Razak Aliyu, D aniel Etor, Ugwu Uwadiegwu and Ifeanyi George.

But they have also signed Ghana international goalkeeper Fatau Dauda and striker Ismaila Gata from FC Ifeanyi Ubah. (mtnfooball.com)
