‘Obafemi Martins’ foundation set for massive charity work

In continuation of his philanthropic work, over 1,000 wheel chairs and clutches will be given out to Nigeria hospitals by the former Nigeria forward, Obafemi Martins.

Aside his goal-scoring exploits, Obafemi Martins boasts of many admirers owing to an incredible impact off the pitch.

The former Nigeria international has been involved in several philanthropic campaigns over the course of his career, the latest of which will include donating over a thousand wheelchairs and clutches to over 50 Nigeria hospitals in the last week of November, 2016 through Obafemi Martins Foundation.

“Giving out these items is nothing to me because God has blessed me and I have vowed to always give back to the society,” Martins told Goal.

“The first phase of this donation will be done towards November, while the second phase will be in December. Aside these wheelchairs, I am planning to give some relief materials out especially to the handicapped.” (goal.com)
