Mohamed Salah has scooped another personal accolade as he continues to break records for Liverpool.
The Egypt international has been named the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for April.
Salah scored four goals and assisted a further two in four matches during the month as the Reds continue their pursuit of a first English Premier League title in just under three decades.
The 26-year-old moved up to 22 goals for the league season in a 3-2 win over Newcastle United this past weekend. Salah, though, had to leave the field on a stretcher midway through the second-half following a collision with the Magpies goalkeeper.
As a result, the Reds winger could miss the remainder of the season and so a chance to build on his tally for the campaign in the final match of the league season, at home to Wolves next weekend. (African Football)
