Plateau United FC have parted ways with their coach, Zachary Baraje.
Baraje becomes the third Nigerian Premier Football League coach to lose his job officially after MFM’s Fidelis Ilechukwu and Kano Pillars’ Mohammed Baba Ganaru.
Former Enyimba FC International and El Kanemi Warriors coach Baraje led the Jos-based team to a 12th placed finish at the just concluded Nigerian Premier Football League season.
He had previously been relieved of his duties as coach mid-way through last season but was recalled by the club management.
A tweet on Plateau United’s official twitter handle reads:”We wish to inform the general public that our Gaffer, Zachary Baraje, has parted ways with the Club.”
Baraje led Akwa United to their first ever Federations Cup triumph in 2015, when they defeated Lobi Stars 2-1 in the finals. (NAN)
