Asante Kotoko SC and Hearts of Oak goalkeepers Ibrahim Danlad and Richard Attah have been dropped from Ghana's squad for upcoming World Cup play-off.
GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm that the duo will not be part of the Black Stars team to face Nigeria later this month.
Interim head coach Otto Addo is expected to release his squad list for the doubleheader matches next week.
The German based trainer will settle on Swindon Town goalie Joseph Wollacott, Richard Ofori and Belgium based Abdul Manaf Nurudeen as goalkeepers for the play-off.
Ibrahim and Attah have been outstanding in the Ghana Premier League this season and connoisseurs were expecting at least one of the them in the Ghana to face the Super Eagles.
The Black Stars take on Nigeria in the first leg of the crucial tie on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Nigeria will host the second leg four days later at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
