The Premier League champions aren’t exactly providing much excitement at this stage of the season and so Leicester City’s owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has decided to pursue other thrills in life – by splashing out £11m on a super-yacht.
In an attempt to cheer himself up, the 58-year-old Thai billonaire appears to have treated himself to a 116ft vessel which has a top speed of 26 knots, boasts five luxury overnight cabins, bars, bathrooms and lavish lounge areas.
According to the Leicester Mercury, the yacht has been purchased directly from prestigious British luxury motor yacht manufacturer Sunseeker International, although the firm said it would not comment on any of its customers.
Powered by two diesel engines and with a range of 1,250 nautical miles, Sunseeker said it has a master suite, two double cabins, two twin cabins and is also capable of carrying up to five crew onboard to ensure a "relaxed luxury yacht experience".
The model can even accommodate its own hot tub if the buyer wishes, though it is not known if the Foxes supremo has opted to install one.
It’s well for some, eh? (goal.com)
