Besiktas open to €10m Ndidi sale

By Daily Sports Nigeria on May 15, 2026

Turkish Süper Lig club Besiktas are prepared to sell Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi this summer for a fee in excess of €10m, with a return to England appearing the most likely outcome for the Nigerian midfielder, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

According to a report by Kartal Record, Besiktas are willing to part ways with Ndidi, having signed him from Leicester City for €8 million last summer, meaning the club stands to turn a profit on the deal.

The Premier League is considered the most probable destination given that Ndidi spent the better part of nine years in England, and most top-flight clubs can comfortably meet the asking price.

Manchester United have been among the clubs most frequently linked with the 29-year-old, with those rumours resurfacing in recent months after first circulating during his time at Leicester, when his dominant midfield displays attracted interest from several of Europe’s top clubs.

Ndidi has been a consistent performer for Besiktas since his arrival, though he has made no secret of his frustrations with the team’s performances at times this season.

Besiktas face Rizespor in their final league game of the season on Friday, a match that could prove to be Ndidi’s last appearance for the club if a summer exit is confirmed.
