Watford's Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo has signed a new five-year contract at Vicarage Road, the Premier League club announced on Thursday.
"Odion Ighalo has signed a new five-year contract with #watfordfc," Watford wrote on the club's official Twitter account. "Congratulations @ighalojude!"
Ighalo, 27, scored 17 goals in 42 appearances last season, but had been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion.
He follows strike partner and captain Troy Deeney by committing himself to Watford until 2021.
Ighalo began his career in Norway and then spent six years at Udinese, during which time he went out on loan four times, before joining Watford in 2014.
He made his Nigeria debut in March 2015 and has been capped 11 times, scoring three goals.
