Enyimba International sensational midfielder, Izuogu Chibueze, is thrilled by his season-long loan move to Moldovan Super League side CSF Spartanii of Moldova.

The 19-year-old, who is largely tipped to succeed Austin Jay-Jay Okocha in the Super Eagles midfield, shared his excitement in a statement on social media shortly after his unveiling at the club on Monday.

“Extremely happy to start this journey, exciting times ahead,” wrote the Nigeria U-20 international, who represented the country at the 2023 African Games in Ghana.

Enyimba announced the deal in a statement on Monday, hoping the prodigiously talented player gained valuable experience in the Moldovan top flight.

“Midfielder Izuogu Chibueze has completed a season-long loan move to CSF Spartanii of Moldova. Izuogu Chibueze joins the Moldovan side for the 2024/2025 campaign, gaining valuable experience in the Moldovan National Division.

Good luck, Chibueze!” stated the People’s Elephant.

Chibueze laid down the marker in the domestic scene, scoring Nigeria Premier Football League Goal of the Season 2023/2024.

At Spartanii Selemet, Chibueze will be warmly welcomed by Ganiu Abiodun Olaniyan, a Nigerian central midfielder who has started all four matches for the club since joining them on July 1 on a one-year contract that expires on June 30, 2025.
