Kwara Utd Beat Rangers As Plateau, Akwa Fire Blank •PLUS: Other NPFL Match Day 31 Results in 2020/2021

 It was a poor day for Rangers International of Enugu as they suffered a 2-0 defeat in the hands of Kwara United in Ilorin. Despite finishing the first half goalless, the Harmony Warriors upped their game and scored in the 63rd minute through Kabiru Balogun, and they made it two in the 86th minute through Farayola Olawale. Despite the result, Kwara United are on the third spot with 52 points from 30 games.

In Jos, the league leaders, Akwa United, held their own to end the match draw as both Plateau United and the Prom­ise Keepers fired blank. The result still keeps the Akwa Ibom side on top of the table with 57 points from 31 games.

In the result of other matches, Enyimba came from behind to draw 1-1 with the visiting Rivers United in Aba. In Katsina, the home side, Katsina United, whipped hapless FC IfeanyiUbah, 3-0, while Kano Pillars whipped Lobi Stars 3-0 in Kaduna.

In Oleh, Delta State, Warri Wolves beat Abia Warriors 2-0, even as Jigawa Golden Stars defeated Dakkada FC of Uyo 2-1. In Gombe their ad­opted home, Adamawa United drew 1-1 with Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) FC.

Akwa United are still atop the table and they are followed by Kano Pillars on 55 points while Kwara United are third on 52 points.
