Rivers United FC has congratulated the Commissioner for Sports in Rivers State, Barrister Chris Green on his re-election as the Chairman, of Rivers State Football Association.
Barr. Green, on Thursday returned unopposed at the Rivers State Football Association elections held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
In a statement by the General Manager of Rivers United, Dr Okey Kpalukwu, described his re-election as the continuation of his legacy in ensuring that football is taken to an enviable height.
Dr. Kpalukwu urged Barr. Green to remain focused in the new assignment and build on the successes recorded towards the growth and development of football in the state.
