Players and officials of El-Kanemi Warriors arrive Abuja on Monday evening from Maiduguri ahead their Federation Cup match with Enyimba on Wednesday in the round of 32.
The team is led by the Welfare Officer Ba Aji Hassan, who told Daily Sports: “You, see we leave Maiduguri this morning and it is always in our plans to reach away match venues two days before a match so that the players can rest well.”
On his part, team captain Michael George declared: “We are in high spirits. We know how important this match is to us so we are fully ready for this match.”
Adding his voice, El-Kanemi Media Manager Prince Obaseki said: “The team is well motivated and we will not underrate Enyimba. This is Challenge Cup; no return leg, so we are ready, no more, no less.”
